Team Leader
As a Team Leader you need to enjoy working as part of a team, be customer focused and flexible with excellent communication, listening and telephone skills.
You will be answering incoming telephone calls, carrying out medical-screening and providing accurate quotations and executing policy sales. As a Team Leader you will also be a buddy to new joiners and assist with induction training, provide on the spot solutions to team members in order to enhance knowledge and act as a referral point for any escalations.
Tracey Robe has been with PremierCover since May 2003.
What did you do prior to joining PremierCover?
I was very busy being a full time Mum.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy speaking to customers and I enjoy medical screening. It gives me great pleasure speaking to different people with different needs, being able to offer them cover, especially when they have found it difficult to find travel insurance elsewhere.
What has been your greatest achievement at PremierCover so far?
Well there are two things: One is passing an NVQ in Retail Financial Services and the other was being promoted to a Team Leader.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, socialising, listening to music and shopping.
How would you describe yourself?
Fun, Friendly and Caring.
Senior Customer Service Administrator
As a Senior Customer Service Administrator you need to be an efficient and methodical person who has excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and accurate typing skills.
You will be issuing policies and renewals that arrive in the office via fax, post or email, dispatching outgoing mail and responding to email queries and general enquires relating to our travel insurance schemes.
Jackie Reed has been with PremierCover since February 2005.
What did you do prior to joining PremierCover?
Prior to joining PremierCover I worked with Abbey National, Cosmos and in-between was a full-time mum.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy handling the technical queries that we receive and being able to resolve these.
What has been your greatest achievement at PremierCover so far?
Becoming a Customer Service Administrator after a year with the company and then being promoted to a Senior Customer Service Administrator in 2008.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy reading, attending rock festivals and generally socialising.
How would you describe yourself?
Family orientated and being known for having a very dry sense of humour!
Supervisor
As a Customer Services Supervisor you need to be an excellent communicator, reliable, approachable and confident with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
You will work as part of our Supervisory team to ensure the smooth and successful running of the customer services department, carry out monthly call assessments and performance reviews, identify training needs, provide guidance and support to improve overall learning and knowledge, handle personnel issues and ensure customer expectations are exceeded and sales opportunities maximised.
Karen Wood has been with PremierCover since April 2001.
What did you do prior to joining PremierCover?
I had my hands full being a full-time mum of 2!
What do you like most about your job?
I like the variety of work that my job offers me and the day to day challenge of helping run a busy department.
What has been your greatest achievement at PremierCover so far?
My progression in the Company. Being first promoted to team leader and then to Supervisor in 2007.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy walking my dog and Zumba!!
